A small bruise at the puncture site usually disappears quickly. To help prevent this, we recommend wearing the bandage for 2 hours after donation, avoiding strain on the affected arm, and not lifting heavy objects. If the other arm has a suitable vein, you can continue donating plasma. Heparin ointment may help with healing.
