During one donor year, you can donate plasma up to 45 times – safely, every 3 days. The annual compensation for plasma donation, including additional bonuses, may vary by center, but we provide a fair and transparent system everywhere.

Plasma donation is not only life-saving but also valuable. As you saw in the table, the Haema Plasma compensation system ensures that your efforts are recognized. After each donation, you receive competitive reimbursement, provided in cash and Rewin vouchers.

Within the mentor program, you receive HUF 5,000 after your mentee’s 2nd donation and another HUF 5,000 after their 5th donation.

Plasma donation requires selflessness, time, and energy. The purpose of compensation is not payment, but to ensure that donating plasma places as little financial burden as possible on donors.

Plasma donation cannot truly be measured in money, but the compensation helps cover:

  • travel expenses,
  • time spent,
  • potential loss of income.

This system is essential to ensure that sufficient blood plasma is available for the production of life-saving medicines, for example for:

  • patients with immune deficiencies,
  • people with blood clotting disorders,
  • patients with severe burn injuries.
